How to order a free horoscope/astrology chart
Free charts are available on the amazing Astrodienst website at www.astro.com T0 get a chart that is compatible with High School Astrology, follow these 13 magic steps:
1) Go to www.astro.com and create a free account. You can order as many free charts as you want. For each chart, you
will need this information: Name, date, time, and place of birth. Be as accurate as possible about the time.
2) When you are at the site, click on My Astro, then fill in your email address and password. And away you go! The
charts you create will be kept on your My Astro page.
There are numerous ways to construct a horoscope. To be in alignment with High School Astrology, follow this process,
which may look complicated in print but is easy once you get used to it:
3) Once you are in My Astro click on Add new Astro data.
4) Fill in Birth Data Entry boxes. When you enter the city of birth, the program will offer all cities by that name.
Click on the city AND STATE you want. Click continue.
5) The data you have entered is now added at the bottom of a list of all your Astro data entries on your My Astro page.
To see or print a chart, begin by clicking on the name of the person whose chart you want to see.
6) You will get a page entitled Please select your horoscope here. Scroll all the way down and click on Extended Chart Selection.
7) In Methods, click on Circular charts. Select Natal Chart Wheel.
Still in Methods, go to Chart drawing style and scroll down to select Liz Greene style.
8) In Options, for this purpose, the start date is always the current day on which you are working.
9) For House system scroll down and click on Equal. The Equal House chart is an ancient, time-honored system.
Granny thinks it doesn't need fixing or changing. It is simple and accurate; no elaboration is needed.
10) In zodiac stay with Western geocentric tropical.
11) Go down to Additional Objects and choose the first object, Pars Fortune. This is the Part of Fortune discussed in High School Astrology on page 13 . Chiron, "the wounded healer," is an asteroid that will automatically be added,
as well. It is not mentioned in Granny's book, which does not deal with asteroids. If you are interested, there are books
on the subject.
12) Almost time to print your chart! Click on Click here to show the chart. The resulting page has text about how to
print the chart and aspects. Then click anywhere on the chart to get to a final page where there is no extra text --
just a printable chart with aspects. CLICK ON PRINT.
13) One last little thing to do -- once your chart is printed, write the House numbers, 1 to 12, in the center of your "pie
chart" horoscope, referring to the Houses diagram on page 118 of Granny's book. If you like, you can color in the
planets and signs with the rainbow colors presented on pages 58-59 . Use High School Astrology to help you
understand your chart and those of friends and family.
